Synergaid Pty Ltd (ABN 63 682 263 001) ("we", "us", "our") operates the Synergaid platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.
We are committed to complying with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
2. Information We Collect
Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and password (securely hashed). You may optionally provide a company name and avatar.
Usage data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including pages visited, features used, app run history, and timestamps.
Content data: We process the forms, prompts, documents, and data you create or upload within the Service to provide AI-powered functionality.
Payment information: Billing details are collected and processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers on our servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- To process your transactions and manage your subscription
- To send you important service notifications (e.g., billing, security)
- To respond to your support requests and enquiries
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse
- To generate anonymised, aggregated analytics to improve our product
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- AI model providers — your app inputs are sent to AI models from the Google Gemini family (Gemini 2.5 Pro, 3.1 Pro, 3 Flash, 2.5 Flash, 2.5 Flash Lite, 3 Pro Image) and OpenAI GPT-5 family (GPT-5, GPT-5.2, GPT-5 Mini, GPT-5 Nano) for processing. We minimise data sent and do not use your content to train AI models.
- External API integrations — when you configure connectors (e.g., Perplexity, Firecrawl), data may be shared with those providers as needed to fulfil your requests.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
We use essential cookies and browser local storage to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. App run history and outputs are retained for 12 months after creation. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, row-level security on all database tables, and secure API key storage. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only.
8. Your Rights
Under Australian privacy law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC)
9. International Data Transfers
Our infrastructure may process data in locations outside of Australia. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with the APPs.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
11. Shared App Data
When a user shares an app via a share link, the following applies:
- Access to shared apps is logged for security and audit purposes. We store hashed (not plaintext) IP addresses and user agent strings.
- Data entered into a shared app may be processed by AI models to generate outputs, consistent with Section 4 above.
- Share link access logs are retained for 90 days and then automatically purged.
- Shared apps are protected from search engine indexing via robots.txt directives, meta tags, and HTTP headers.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
